Data center access

Requests for entry into the data center should be made through the Data Center Access form in the dashboard.

You'll be able to access the data center if:

  • You're an existing customer with written authorization to add, change or remove equipment.
  • You're an existing customer with written authorization to do a technical visit.
  • You're an existing or potential future customer with written authorization for a commercial visit (in this case the access request is made by a Latitude.sh representative).

Each of these situations has specific rules for scheduling and accessing the data center, as described below:

Inclusion and exchange of equipment

Access to the data center for the exchange of peripherals and equipment is allowed 24/7, according to the following rules:

  • Business hours visits from Monday through Friday from 9 am to 10 pm requires a 24-hour prior visit request.
  • Entry outside of business hours requires a 48-hour prior appointment.
  • Visitors that are more than 2 hours late will have their visit canceled and it'll need to be rescheduled.

Technical visit

Access to the data center for technical visits is allowed 24/7, according to the following rules:

  • Entry during business hours from Monday through Friday from 9 am to 10 pm requires a 15-minute prior appointment.
  • Entry outside of business hours requires a 30-minute prior appointment.
  • Visitors that are more than 2 hours late will have their visit canceled and it'll need to be rescheduled.

Facility tours, meetings, and others

Access to the data center for tours and meetings is permitted within the business hours described below:

  • Visitors will be accompanied by a Latitude.sh representative at all times.
  • Business hours from Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, requiring a 60-minute prior appointment.
  • Entry is not permitted outside of business hours.
  • Visitors that are more than 2 hours late will have their visit canceled and it'll need to be rescheduled.
